Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Independent Consultant

ADRA International is looking to engage consultant(s) that will provide technical support to ADRA primarily in the area of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Water Infrastructure programming. Consultant will conduct duties to enhance ADRA's ability to submit competitive proposals and to strengthen ADRA's program implementation by providing technical input, strengthening internal processes and tools, and leading or supporting proposal efforts.

DETAILS:

1. Provide technical assistance to WASH programming in the Middle East (Yemen and Sudan) and South America (Venezuela) in support of ADRA International counterparts. TA will be provided in two modalities: remote assistance as well as field trips for on the ground technical support.

2. Work with field-based staff to assist in the writing and editing technical documents including concept notes, proposals, technical narratives for reports and written responses to questions from the field and from donors.

3. Support the development and submission of new proposals for funding in WASH.

4. Work with field-based staff on the preparation of documents showing WASH best practices and innovations in the field.

5. Training and capacity building of field teams in technical, management and compliance issues.

6. Other assignments will be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
