About the team:

The Physical Security Systems team is responsible for managing best-in-class security systems at Robinhood offices worldwide. We optimize technology to protect our people, assets, and brand by deploying hardware and software to our physical spaces and internal partners to enable their work. From managing large-scale physical device builds to constantly testing the newest security technology, our mission is to protect Robinhood.

We're looking for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys digging into the weeds of designs, and is comfortable communicating with different trades or partner teams. In this role, you will collaborate with internal partners and supervise vendors for installations and roll-outs of security system technology globally. This role ensures that all projects are developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the company's standards, including but not limited to: safety, quality, management, and financial performance with the goal of keeping Robinhoodies safe and secure.

What you'll do day-to-day:

  • Coordinate with business partners, systems integrators, and vendors to define and manage the entire lifecycle of our Physical Security infrastructure projects, including, but not limited to, site selection/assessments, physical security system design, scope, scheduling, cost, installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Attend all OAC's, publish initial design documents, create project schedules, and review RFI's and submittals
  • Review, develop, and publish Security System standards and RFP's to implement on deployments for physical spaces and system roll-outs
  • Foster close collaboration with Physical Security team partners as well as Real Estate, Workplace, Corporate Engineering, and other internal teams
  • Test and commission new security systems devices and inspect installations for quality assurance
  • Assess physical security implementations and make risk-based recommendations that consider impact on business operations, system architecture, corporate culture, and employee workflows
  • Maintain documentation throughout project lifecycle and prepare reports for security leadership and key business partners
  • Manage relationships with vendor project managers and designers as it relates to deployment implementation

About you:

  • Undergraduate in Project Management, Security, Technology or equivalent field experience
  • 7+ years of experience in managing security deployment projects from evaluation to design and execution
  • 2+ years of experience managing field technicians or construction trades
  • Experience interacting with Physical Security systems such as Lenel, Avigilon, S2, Genetec, Exacq, Milestone, CCure, etc.
  • Practical experience effectively leading multiple projects and multitasking
  • Comfortable walking construction sites and field coordinating deployments
  • Experience reviewing architectural plans and security designs
  • Ability to travel to other offices and to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills

Bonus points:

  • Strong working knowledge of Google suite products
  • Certified Security Project Manager (SIA) and Project Management Professional (PMI)

We're looking for more growth-minded and collaborative people to be a part of our journey in democratizing finance for all. If you're ready to give 100% in helping us achieve our mission-we'd love to have you apply even if you feel unsure about whether you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Robinhood, we're looking for people invigorated by our mission, values, and drive to change the world, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.

We are dedicated to building a company that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We believe that the more inclusive we are, the better our work (and work environment) will be for everyone.
