About the role:

As a Salesforce Consultant, you will play a key leadership role for the transformation and scalability of our global teams being able to influence the business and systems architecture in the right direction with an ample opportunity to learn and grow. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated with the passion to bring change to the organization. This individual should have deep Salesforce knowledge and a good understanding of CRM strategy. This individual will be part of the core development of a platform to deliver Forter's Go-To-Market strategies in a fast-paced environment, driving strategies and execution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, stakeholder management, on-time delivery, and efficient task management for a global team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support, analyze, and resolve critical production application issues and outages.
  • Shape the product roadmap to optimize the user experience and customer life cycle.
  • Develop strategies and plans to drive end-user adoption and optimizations.
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations to address evolving business needs.
  • Partner with internal teams to manage and maintain the day-to-day relationship with 3rd party vendors, including Salesforce.
  • Build and manage integrations between Salesforce and other applications and systems (resource planning, technical builds, user access audits, etc.).
  • Perform data CRUD operations using Data Loader and other similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain systems process and technical design documentation.
  • Ensure consistency of CRM usage conventions, compliance with best practices, and integrity of data.
  • Conducts periodic assessments of the capability maturity and performance against business objectives.
  • Provide counsel and advice to top management/stakeholders on significant matters, often requiring coordination between different teams and organizations.
  • Effective communication and positive collaboration with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations.

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing processes; in-depth knowledge of CRM strategy and Salesforce's best practices.
  • Salesforce certifications (particularly those in relationship to administrator credentials).
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience (as a Salesforce administrator or business analyst / supporting 500+ end-users in Lightning Experience).
  • Working knowledge and experience (or a keen interest) with request for proposals (RFPs), contract lifecycle management (CLMs) and sales enablement tools.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and security model.
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Visual Studio Code or other).
  • Experience with integrations and knowledge of integration patterns (Hubspot, Clari, Outreach).
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, technology/engineering teams, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or equivalent. Must be nimble and able to adapt to evolving project definitions and requirements.
  • Strong communication, project management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field; master degree a plus but not required.
