macOS Swift Programmer

At Stairwell, we're working to rewrite the rules of cybersecurity. And we can't do that without breaking away from the mold. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Management and lead developers to define and implement new endpoint agent features.
• Drive quality and performance improvements.
• Identify potential bugs and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to the Stairwell code release cycle, including producing high quality code, running unit tests, and integrating the code into the current code base.

Requirements:

• Stairwell doesn't believe a college degree is a requirement for any role. We embrace all people, who are able to perform at the highest levels of their field, regardless of how they obtained their education.
• 3+ years experience driving development of high quality endpoint agents for macOS utilizing client/server patterns.
• Proficiency in Swift and Obj-C.
• Understanding of concurrent programming and the tools available on macOS.
• Good knowledge of application architectures and design patterns.
• Experience with macOS internals such as POSIX, security, system APIs or related functionality.
• CI/CD Pipeline experience.
• Experience with Git & Xcode.
• Preferred experiences:
• • XPC.
  • Understanding of System Extensions.

Example tasks:

• Gather performance metrics and send data to an ingestion service.
• Create robust unit and integration tests.
• Automate build build process by creating a CI/CD pipeline.
• Use performance profiling tooling to debug and enhance performance.
