The Opportunity:

Our growing IT/IS group is looking for a System Engineer to join the team. As an expert in system design and implementation, the System Engineer has a passion for cloud services like G Suite, O365 and AWS. You have a broad range of technical skill and a drive to consistently learn new technologies. You are the SME for all things AWS, with the passion to share your knowledge with the people you work with.

What you'll be doing every day:

• Act as an escalation point for Service Desk, IS and Dev-Ops systems requests.
• Will be responsible for Project Implementation, Change Management and Problem Management Globally
• Will be responsible to maintain all IT tools Globally
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team, including training and coaching.
• Be an experienced tier 2/3 escalation point for our IT Service desk team for information systems.
• Provide technical execution on the design and implementation of IT&IS projects.
• Own the monitoring and incident reporting of operational systems.
• Implement and manage IAM and MDM solutions including Okta, Workspace 1, Azure IAM.
• Design, create and support IT infrastructure systems, including network, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, G Suite, O365, VMWare VSphere, AWS.
• Own, design, and manage the IPSEC network and configuration between the physical offices and the AWS infrastructure.
• Own AWS-based storage for a virtualized environment.

What you bring to the table:

• A university degree in computer science, or at least 10 years of experience in a similar IT role.
• More than 5 years of experience designing AWS systems.
• More than 5 years of experience as a G Suite administrator.
• More than 5 years of experience as an O365 administrator preferred.
• Experience with Data center operations and maintenance, and supporting physical server hardware, storage arrays and UPS.
• Experience with backup technologies, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, data and disaster recovery practices.
• In depth experience with IAM and MDM solutions.
• Experience with change management processes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell and Python.
• Experience with supporting Cisco VOIP telephony solutions (Would be a benefit).
• More than 5 years of experience managing Amazon Storage Gateways.
• Demonstrated experience designing AWS systems from greenfield.
• Experience using AWS services (S3, EC2, VPN, VDI, Route 53, etc).
• Amazon AWS certified.
• Strong preference is given to people with a valid Amazon Solutions Architect Professional certificate.
• Demonstrated experience with system design, with a focus on cloud services.
