Summary:

This position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of key projects and initiatives which will contribute to the continued growth of the organization. The PM is an expert in technical and procedural implementations with an emphasis on system enhancements, process refinement, and project management. The PM liaises with various departments to ensure proper collaboration on project development and implementation. You should have an aptitude for thinking outside the box and enjoy critical thinking, organization, and overall team management.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and lead the execution of complex, cross-functional IT projects and initiatives owning all aspects of project planning, tracking, and communications
  • Work with team leads to define the project plan, goals, and scope, identify resources, and determine key milestones and dependencies to create the project schedule
  • Regularly review project progress and communicate status to stakeholders and the project team in a clear and effective manner
  • Proactively handle schedule and scope changes, identify risks, mitigate issues, build contingency plans, and manage escalations
  • Provides support and visibility of the overall IT portfolio to enable informed prioritization of projects, highlight potential risks, identify dependencies, and best utilize resources
  • Provides support and leadership for IT business process definition and improvements with stakeholders across Newfront to ensure transparency, inclusiveness, and measurable results
  • Develops department road map leveraging insight and input from multiple stakeholder groups and communicates progress against the roadmap at regular intervals
  • Provides leadership and vision to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confers with project staff to outline work plan

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years experience managing projects in a high-tech, high-growth, ever evolving environment
  • Experience with projects involving one or more technology or functional domain
  • Familiar with one or more project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
  • Ability to blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile development approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to forge meaningful, trust-based relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • PMI-ACP, PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Demonstrated operational excellence with experience managing complex projects, aligning stakeholders and working independently when necessary, while driving projects and outcomes to completion.
