The HMI/Cyber TA is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting for the Nexus Controls OTArmor?, Cyber Security Management System. You will control solution products for the control system retrofit market range of hardware and software products within the Control Solutions portfolio.

As a HMI & Cyber Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing communications hardware, firewalls, routers, VLAN network communications, switches, HMIs, etc.
  • Configuring Virtual Machine software and build instructions
  • Developing and sustaining cyber asset protection applications, tools, and reports for customer applications
  • Configuring Virtual Machine software and build instructions
  • Implementing of Software communication such as Modbus, OPC, etc.
  • Delivering customer on-site and in-house training
  • Providing technical inputs to sales and commercial teams
  • Supporting start-up and performance tests, ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating and troubleshooting control system problem
  • Maintaining accurate timesheets and acquire customer's signature on timesheets before leaving the job site
  • Writing accurate and detailed reports after completion of each job
  • Supporting Sales team and customers in developing new opportunities

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have completed college in Computer Science or Information Technology with proven work experience in professional engineering position focused on cyber security supporting industrial environments
  • Have solid knowledge and experience with Network Cyber Security Systems, software packages and communications
  • Have knowledge of network device configuration, Virtual Machine, Administrative Domain, networking
  • Be able to understand and implement technical drawings (wiring diagram, P&ID, General Arrangement, etc.)
  • Have strong computer skills using MS Office software
  • Demonstrate ability to meet agreed upon goals and measurements
  • Have a great customer service mind-set
  • Have one or more of the following certifications: CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, Security+, Network+ IEC62443, VMware, GICSP, CISSP, GCIP
  • Have knowledge of GE Mark Series and WW control system hardware and software applications
  • Have knowledge of Switches configuration, Virtual Machine Navigation, Domain Controllers, HMIs configuration
  • Have knowledge of cyber asset protection regulations effecting the power generation industry including (but not limited too)
  • Demonstrate experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems including; user account management, security/system hardening & device control, and patch management
  • Demonstrate experience in the development and application of virtual machines in a Microsoft Windows operating environment
