DevOps Engineer Tier 1

At Gong, we're building new-generation, machine-learning based software that automates big parts of customer-facing roles by "understanding" their conversations and related work.

• Our solution guides sales professionals, coaches them on how to become better, performs tasks for them, and directs them to the best actions.

You Will:

• Work with our development teams to help them set up automation pipelines and solve problems.
• Collaborate with other DevOps engineers and teams to find the best possible solutions.
• Maintain and use our day-to-day tool stack, and help our R&D teams get their requirements and issues solved quickly and efficiently.

You Are:

• A DevOps engineer with 1-2 years of experience.
• Someone with a good understanding of cloud technologies.A strong "problem solver".
• A team player who is passionate about working with other strong peers.
• A people person with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You have:

• Proficiency in Linux environments including RHEL / Debian based distros.
• Experience with one or more relational databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL (Adv.)
• Experience with cloud computing technologies, preferably AWS - a must.
• Experience with Git and CI / CD processes, and tools such as Jenkins / Teamcity / TravisCI / CircleCI (Adv.)
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible / Chef / Puppet / Saltstack & PaaS tools such as AWS Cloudformation / Terraform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as K8s / ECS / Docker swarm.
• Good understanding of computer networking fundamentals as well as web services and applications.
• Excellent client-facing skills
