Sr. Product Designer

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help create simple, elegant and intuitive interfaces for our core products, Truepic Vision & Truepic Lens. As a member of our product team you'll be working closely with teammates across the entire company to brainstorm, create, and launch each phase of the product's growth. Utilizing your full range of product design, interaction design and visual design skills, you'll help deliver value that will dramatically impact our customers' ability to make critical decisions based on authentic photos and videos. As part of our fully distributed workforce you'll operate with a high level of autonomy and ownership, making regular decisions and contributions that will help shape the future of our product.

Core Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of the Web and Mobile product design processes, including research, prototyping, design execution, testing, and documentation
• Craft wireframes, user flows, and prototypes of various fidelity levels to explore and communicate the user experience across different platforms
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and cross functional team members to identify, solve, and iterate upon design challenges
• Maintain and help optimize Truepic's design system
• Translate Truepic's brand guidelines across all design projects
• Assist with sales, operational, and marketing design initiatives

You will succeed in this role if you:

• Have strong UI/UX design experience
• Have strong user empathy, and are able to apply those skills to complex technologies and workflows
• Have enthusiasm for iterative design processes with the ability to rapidly ideate, respond to feedback, and deliver polished designs
• Are naturally collaborative, with the mindset that teamwork crafts the best solutions
• Have experience translating brand & visual identity to frontend designs in a cohesive and thoughtful manner
• Have experience working on both b2b and consumer facing products across multiple platforms
• Are able to function independently and within a team environment with excellent collaboration skills
• Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in product design and/or UX/UI design using Figma and/or Sketch
• Have a design system centered approach to building experiences. You love creating modular and smart interfaces that reduce complexity and fragmentation.
• Have an appreciation for data driven design, and are able to synthesize quantitative and qualitative feedback in order to build the best solutions
• Have experience working with a multidisciplinary team
• Are able to receive critique gracefully and provide thoughtful critique to others
• Have proven design experience shipping iterative products, and understand what it takes to create valuable and meaningful experiences
• Have a people-focused design mentality
• Have strong attention to detail with engineering implementation, and the ability to integrate into engineering and QA processes to ensure high-quality execution
