Ironclad

Learning Experience Designer, Digital Success

Ironclad

Remote job description

Ironclad is on a mission to power the world's contracts, and our Digital Customer Success team is a critical part of making that mission a reality. Reporting to the Manager, Learning Experience Design, the Learning Experience Designer will create thoughtful learning experiences that provide our customers with the information they need, when they need it - reducing customer effort and decreasing time to value. You are an out of the box thinker, who is comfortable designing learning experiences across multiple delivery methods, including VILT, video, eLearning, in-product guidance, workshops, and more.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced instructional designer with a SaaS background, who is ready to be part of building our Learning Experience Design team from the ground up at a high-growth company. As the second Learning Experience Design hire, this is an opportunity not just to build amazing content, but to help build the processes and systems we need to scale as we grow the team and our offerings.

What you'll be doing:

    • Collaborate closely with product, CS, other designers, and teams across the org to research how to enable customers more effectively
    • Design and build enablement materials which include but are not limited to live training, on-demand video and written content, on-the-job resources, and other dynamic experiences
    • Measure the success of your enablement initiatives through assessment, customer data, and other inputs
    • Own and maintain a library of enablement materials on an ongoing basis as the product quickly evolves

What we're looking for:

    • 3+ years experience working in Learning Experience Design or related field, strong preference for previous experience at a SaaS company
    • Proven understanding of agile development, ability to test and iterate based on customer experience
    • Strong empathy and desire to understand customer needs and goals. Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into data or talk to customers/SMEs and understand the need
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical information in a relevant, accessible way
    • Very collaborative team player who fosters strong working relationships across teams
    • Applied knowledge of learning theory, psychology, customer communication, or another related field
    • Visual design
    • Demonstrated ability in video editing skills
Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
