Senior Manager, Operations Analytics

As a Senior Manager, you will build our operations analytics vertical and drive insights that lead to step-function operational improvements. In this role, you will partner with leadership and teams from across the operations-from Marketplace Operations to Strategic Planning-to help unpack ambiguous problems and build lasting, scalable analytics solutions. We are looking for candidates who are incessantly curious and who love creating insights out of ambiguity.

You will:

• Build scalable data assets (dashboards and underlying data models and workflows) to unlock reliable data analytics and insights to enable our Operations teams
• Enable and educate stakeholders on best practices for leveraging new data assets that you create
• Be a proactive partner to your business stakeholders and provide insights and conclusions rather than just data outputs
• Partner with Operations, Data Engineering and Data Scientists to develop business metrics to understand our operations performance and influence our future
• Define product/project requirements with business stakeholders and establish effective project governance structure to make progress on your initiatives
• Mentor and hire talent to grow the team

Ideally you'd have:

• 8+ years of experience working in Data Analytics and/or Data Science
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Hands-on experience in principled data warehouse design, data visualization (Tableau) and data pipeline design and development
• Expert-level proficiency in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets.
• Working knowledge of Python and associated data libraries
• Demonstrated excellent project management skills, ability to manage and manipulate large data sets, critically analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement

Nice to haves:

• A Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience working with Netsuite, Anaplan and/or Adaptive Insights a plus
