Senior GTM Business Intelligence Analyst

Gong's GTM (go to market) BI team is responsible for providing the data infrastructure necessary for Gong's GTM leaders to run their businesses.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with business leaders to study value drivers, business processes and business objectives.
• Designing and implementing dynamic and scalable reporting capabilities on Tableau, leveraging data from various business systems.
• Conducting ad hoc analysis including data pulling (using SQL), preparation and visualization.
• Developing ETL processes and creating data views (using SQL, DBT and Fivetran)
• Clearly scope, track, execute and communicate on projects in an agile environment.
• Extracting KPIs and value stories from Gong data.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in BI, analytics for sales operations with focus on B2B sales.
• SQL expertise with focus on maintainability, performance and cost control.
• Proven experience in visualizing data on Tableau.
• Experience working in a development environment and CI/CD methodologies.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and cut through complexity.
• A clear understanding of the Gong technology and value proposition.
• A degree in data science, business, operations, management, or a related field is desirable.

Technical skills:

• Concepts: data analytics, data visualization, relational databases, CI/CD
• Programming: SQL
• Tools/technologies: Salesforce, Tableau, Fivetran, DBT, Sisense (a plus), Salesforce product suite

General business skills:

• Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
• Strong self-starter with the ability to build, develop, and manage relationships with internal senior executives.
• High attention to detail, organization and process and ability to adjust to continuously changing priorities and needs.
• Excellent verbal, written, & presentation skills (specifically in the documentation and presentation of findings).
• Multitasker who is able to handle frequent interruptions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
