Kepler is looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist to join us in revolutionizing the marketing ecosystem. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will develop, maintain, and scale automated analyses, predictive models, statistical analyses, and automated data pipelines that help the organization better understand how to optimize our marketing programs. What You Will Do:

Build and automate analyses and data management approaches, scaling them across our client base Develop new, innovative approaches to analyzing data and managing scalable data pipelines Create and maintain code in Jupyter notebooks and a Linux-based environment using SQL, Python, and Spark Codify and share best practices across team members Build strong relationships with our product, engineering, and client delivery teams to identify needs and ensure quality results Train junior colleagues on the usage of development tools and techniques Implement proactive solutions to improve our workflows Explore ways to integrate machine learning and AI into Kepler analytics Develop, iterate on, and scale predictive models and statistical analyses

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to draw insights from large scale data
  • Experience extracting data from databases using SQL
  • Strong technical/coding skills, including experience using Python, R, and/or Spark or similar languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data sets
  • Ability to produce code that is easily understood, and understand code written by others
  • An eager and open mind. We are constantly learning new things and want the same from you

Required experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with background in a quantitative discipline, e.g. statistics, math, economics, physics, computer science, engineering, etc.
  • Post-graduate degree a plus. Recent work / hobby project whose code and behavior we can evaluate. Example: your GitHub profile with recent projects and / or analyses that you have personally developed 5 years of experience in analytics or data science
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical techniques (such as linear or nonlinear models, logistic regression, machine learning, artificial intelligence, clustering techniques, decision trees, neural networks, etc.), and real-world experience applying these in a corporate environment
