Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a senior data engineer to work in the intersection between engineering and data science. Help us improve our data processing workflows and push them to the next level.

Your profile:

• Formal education in computer science
• Experience with software development
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience implementing complex data and ETL pipelines
• Experience with workflow management platforms and/or computational solutions like Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Functions
• You work independently and are goal-oriented
• You have excellent English skills
• You are located in one of the European time zones

Your role:

• Build the infrastructure required for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
• Design, implement, deploy and monitor data and ETL pipelines
• Help assemble large, complex data sets that meet critical business requirements
• Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks and problems in our data layer
• Ensure a high-quality code base

• You have experience with PostgreSQL
• You have experience with the Go programming language
• You have significant DevOps experience
• You have experience working on highly-available and fault-tolerant systems

For legal matters we state that the minimum wage for this position is 3129 € gross per month. However, depending on your qualification a higher salary is obviously very likely.
