Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Solution Architect for a direct hire with our client in Minneapolis, MN 100% Remote
Summary:
Senior Data & Analytics Solution Architect specializes in contemporary cloud-based analytics architecture including data lake/ data warehouse/ analytics user solutions. In this role you will serve as a team leader in development (e.g., Python), data ingestion, testing, and deployment of GCP to enable our digital transformation strategy and harness the value of data systems strategy, needed to advance manufacturing operational excellence, customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical leader and support in the creation and delivery of GCP technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs.
Lead projects within data analytics. Work with business experts and IT Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
Provide architectural solutions and designs to project execution teams for implementation.
Provide vision and leadership to define the core technologies necessary to meet client needs including development tools and methodologies, package solutions, systems architecture, security techniques, and emerging technologies
Provide analytic support with BI and Data Science technologies
Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Engineering, Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience with five of which focused on data & analytics solutions Architecture
At least3 project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (Client, design, implement and optimize) ofdata & analytics solutions and non-functional requirements such as security and performance
Proven extensive experience in data & analytics capabilities, e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Google's BigQuery, Spark, Azure's Synapse
Proven extensive experience in designing data pipeline solutions (batching and streaming)
Ideally to have experience in manufacturing industry and ERP, preferably SAP
Deep, end-to-end understanding of concepts and technologies for: cloud data warehousing, cloud data storage, cloud-based BI and data visualization, data science process and development, data engineering, data modeling, data migration, data integration, data quality, data catalogs, metadata management and lineage.
Familiar with relevant languages such as Python, R, XML, JSON, and SQL
Provides technical consulting on complex projects, anticipates opportunities across business areas, researches best practice alternatives, prepares presentations, drives solutions, gains consensus from a broad business community, and implements solutions
Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
Proficient in authoring and presenting technical documents to a broad audience
Desire to mentor team members and develop their skills
