Job Summary

The City Growth Strategy & Analytics Manager is a critical member of the team that drives Bird's strategy to grow with our #1 customer, cities. They collaborate deeply across the organization to execute our strategies, track outcomes, and optimize our approach. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that is instrumental to realizing Bird's goal to displace 20-30M car trips in 2022 and beyond. The City Growth Strategy & Analytics Manager reports to the Director of City Growth Strategy & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Create data-driven strategies that make Bird the partner of choice for micro-mobility in every major city globally. Illustrative undertakings include:
• Design Bird's innovation roadmap (for vehicle, product, equity and accessibility programs, etc.) by delivering business cases for how we should fuel our mission and advance our competitive edge
• Assess whether Bird should enter into revenue sharing agreements with our city partners to support their sustainable transportation agendas. Develop and optimize a framework for how to structure these agreements.
• Drive initiatives to allocate Bird's vehicle, capital and people resources most effectively and maximize our ROI
• Define Bird's multi-year growth plan by analyzing market sizes/headroom and creating a framework for how we should prioritize our investment in new markets
• Your own ingenious ideas for generating value and growth for Bird
• Rigorously track outcomes both quantitatively and qualitatively; identify root causes and action opportunities to improve Bird's processes, tools, products, operations, and strategy to win with cities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military or practical experience
• 8+ years of experience leading data-driven growth initiatives in an operating company or consulting; experience at a high-growth company a plus
• Strong Excel data analytics and financial modeling capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize data insights into written output to facilitate executive engagement and decision making
• Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
• Strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to excel in collaborative, cross-functional settings
• Motivation and excitement to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a ownership mindset and high drive for results
• A positive, can-do attitude
