Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative Lead Data Analyst to join our Product team. Primary responsibilities would include building out our data pipeline, delivering data insights, driving consumer product and marketing decision making. This role would be responsible for building an infrastructure of consumer decision making via data and analytics.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the ability to contribute appropriately to product and marketing related initiatives and strategies. The Lead Data Analyst at BallerTV should have the ability to work through challenging, ever-changing problems in a startup environment.

Essential Functions

• Own analytic strategy and execution for all consumer products
• Gather data across all consumer-facing stakeholders, from our event partners to our existing subscribers and prospective customers.
• Identify gaps in existing product, and create game plans to tackle it
• Constantly level up data functions and infrastructure to support scalability and growth
• Report new insights across the organization, driving towards internal alignment for new initiatives. Dive deeply into data sets to draw conclusions and suggest directional action.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics, product, CS, marketing or a related field
• Must be able to process complex problems and identify solutions via different analytics tools
• Must be able understand basic technical language and technology practices
• Experience with a CDP / event-based data platform like Segment
• Experience unifying data from multiple sources into a cohesive dashboard view using a tool like Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
• Must have a keen attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment
• Expert in SQL
• B.S. in business administration, marketing, computer science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in gathering requirements and prioritizing competing requests
• Ability to report into multiple teams with analytics requests (Ops, Product, Finance, Sales) and collaborate primarily with the product development and engineering teams
• Understanding of Operational problems in a complex logistics environment
• Competency in training internal departments on new product features.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for sports is a plus!

This position spends most of her/his time sitting or standing in an office or facility

This position may require some travel - up to 10% of the time
