How you will make an impact:

As a member of Iterable's Deliverability team, the Deliverability Compliance Analyst will be responsible for working to help monitor and enforce Iterable's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Anti-Abuse Policy, further develop and mature prospect vetting strategies, and more. This is a key position for the company, because as we scale, we need to protect our customers and ourselves from bad actors and continue to be a leader in the anti-abuse community. The Deliverability Compliance Analyst will report directly to our Principal Email Deliverability and Industry Relations Manager out of Denver.

In this role you'll get to:

• Foster a strong working relationship with other departments including but not limited to Sales, Operations, and Support
• Exercise good judgment and decision-making at all times in order to consistently deliver prudent outcomes
• Responsible for processing direct abuse complaints against our customer base
• Assist Sales with vetting and risk assessments of prospects
• Serve as an escalation point for CS and Support
• Assist in training for Support and Sales Organizations
• Proactively take action on accounts w/ poor sending metrics and/or in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
• Monitor activity on the platform for signs of abuse; investigate potential abuse and take appropriate action
• Create protocols and processes designed to objectively identify problem senders

We are looking for people who have:

• Previous B2B customer service experience
• Previous experience in AUP "acceptable use policy" compliance and enforcement.
• Experience investigating and mitigating platform abuse
• Proficient with anti-abuse legislation, such as; CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
• An attitude where no challenge is too great
• Organized, problem-solver and thorough communication skills
• Enjoy working with a physically distributed team

Bonus points:

• Previous experience with email marketing, push, or SMS software
• Proficiency with AWS or SQL
