The role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our F-Tech Planning team. In short, you will put all your database wizardry abilities into action to help our internal teams better view, understand, and report their data to their internal clients. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.

What you'll do

  • Design stable, reliable, and effective databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources - structured and unstructured data;
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
  • Build interactive reports and dashboards, turning all the data into compelling stories;
  • Apply your coding skills to automate everything you can, so we can scale it;
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;
  • Develop technical and training manuals/material to support the changes or improvements.

Who you are

  • Degree level ideally in Economics, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
  • Experienced in ETL processes. You do not just read about them and find them fascinating; you have to code your way through it and succeed where others have failed.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL. Great at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with BI Solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You have your share of task automation. You have freed your time to keep developing new wonders.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Valued experiences:
  • Bigquery (SQL writing);
  • Data Studio/Looker (Dashboards);
  • Google Apps Script/Python (ETL/Automations);
  • Postman (ETL testing).
