We are looking for a high energy, experienced and passionate training manager. This role is vital to the success of our customer facing support teams. As we continue to grow we want to provide the highest quality, customer focused training and we need a L&D manager able to steer the ship to get us there !

We are in search of a content creator with a successful track record of SaaS or corporate L&D training solutions. Continuous development should be ingrained in their DNA. They are expert facilitators who can create, deliver and scale copious amounts of content. They are passionate about having an impact on others success and they are able to go with the flow in an ever changing environment. They are able to lead a team and roll up their sleeves and deliver work that can be duplicated and scaled.

This role will also be responsible for managing our recently implemented L&D platform and all aspects of the global onboarding process. What does that mean?

The Person We Want:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with solid years of relevant Learning & Development experience required.
  • Experience with implementing and managing LMS required.
  • Experience with formal methodology in training development and delivery strongly preferred.
  • Experience with developing progressive training platforms such as using web-based training tools , video, etc.
  • Energetic and engaging speaker and facilitator required; certification preferred.
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail and ability to focus in an e-commerce environment.
  • Poised communicator who is comfortable working with leaders and executives at all levels of the organization.
  • Team player who is willing to learn, take initiative and ask questions when needed.
  • Ability to generate results in a fast-paced, changing environment, when not all information or the best approach is immediately clear.
  • Experience in managing a training staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders to identify short & medium term training needs within their teams
  • The person perfect for this role is a high energy team player who wins when others win.
  • They are patient and organized and can manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Experience leading a team, preferably one that develops content and facilitates training.
  • Experience creating the strategy for a full scale training program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Learning and Development:
  • Define Learning & Development strategy
  • Overall responsibility for successfully creating, planning, monitoring, controlling and execution of the learning programs and plan
  • Identify ways to transform training to be more interactive that may include web-based training, simulators, and videos
  • Collaborate with business leaders, HR business partners and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design training programs aligned with our MAKE IT Values and strategic learning opportunities
  • Ensure our learning content is scalable allowing for global reach and impact while localizing as necessary for regional nuances.
  • Design and deliver distinctive experiences for employees that are aligned with values and culture, listening to employee feedback and using data to shape future experiences
  • Facilitate training sessions with adaptable delivery style to suit different audiences
  • Deliver and Evaluate the effectiveness of the training modules associated with LMS

Onboarding:

  • Own end to end logistics, scheduling, and all moving parts of new hire onboarding as MOO's headcount grows
  • Implement new hire onboarding initiatives, shepherd onboarding programs, and foster its evolution
  • Ensure new hire onboarding processes run seamlessly across support teams to start with planned expansion across all of MOO
  • Cultivate an onboarding program that engages new hires, acclimates them to our Core Values and company processes, and helps them hit the ground running on their teams
  • Proven project management skills including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results with tight deadlines
