Atelier Client Delight Associate

The Josh Wood Colour Atelier is looking for someone who loves helping and delighting people. The Associate will support our salon clients and team. We are on a mission to be the best salon in the world; offering our clients exceptional service so they feel delighted from appointment booking to leaving the Atelier with amazing hair. Your role in this is critical.

This role will initially be remote, working from home for Covid safety reasons. Occasional visits to the salon in Holland Park, West London, will be required for training, familiarisation or supporting the rest of the team.

Responsibilities include

• Answering questions about our salon services and team
• Answering calls, emails and messages promptly, politely and accurately
• Arranging bookings using our reservation system
• Ensuring booking times are the most convenient and appropriate times for clients
• Managing team members' calendars to be efficient and safe
• Ensuring clients book preferred team members and services
• Communicating with Atelier team to ensure they are kept up to date on Client bookings

Ideal Candidate

• Loves working directly with customers
• Experience and aptitude using reservations software
• Experience working in a hair salon or other client-facing busy environment is desirable
• Experience using Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar customer care ticketing systems is desirable
• Ability to calmly manage difficult customer situations
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organised and able to work alone
