The Sr. Logistics Associate will be responsible for coordination and routing inbound vehicles and spare parts to US and EMEA 3PLs from contract manufacturers in Asia, and ad hoc shipments originating from contract manufacturers in Asia. This position will be responsible for selecting new carriers, negotiating rates, and held accountable for budgetary spend, as well as the transactions necessary to track shipment movements within the ERP and internal tracking systems. Additional responsibilities include the completion of the required paperwork and documents for the inbound shipments.

Responsibilities:

  • Route/coordinate inbound shipments of vehicles and spare parts to US and EMEA 3PLs using the current list of logistics vendors
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics vendors
  • Gather shipping data and input into DASH, NetSuite, KPI Dashboards
  • Coordinate ad hoc and special shipments as needed
  • Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by the Sr. Supply Chain Manager position's direct or indirect impact on the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of logistics experience

  • Ability to collaborate with others as needed
