About the Role:

Aalto has been growing fast, so fast that we can't keep pace with demand.

To help seize the opportunity at hand, we're seeking a highly analytical and highly collaborative Business Operations Lead to help us scale exponentially.

It's a unique role that combines immersing in our operations, thinking holistically, a lot of SQL, working closely with our product and sales teams, as well as the rest of our growing company.

Success looks like moving quickly, understanding from first principles, identifying bottlenecks, and then creating thoughtful systems that drive KPIs automatically.

What You'll Do:

    • Deconstruct the steps of our selling process to optimize it for department and company KPIs
    • Push for both obvious and novel solutions to complex human-centered problems
    • Systematize absolutely everything you can, while maintaining high levels of humanity as experienced by Aalto employees and users
    • Work with Client Success Managers and Advisors to make their lives simpler and easier
    • Share insights often with the product team so that they can contribute software-based solutions
    • Help us answer questions like: How should we launch new markets? What product should we develop next? Should we build or buy a technology/company? How should we structure our Client Success and Ops organizations?
    • Be a team player at an early-stage startup: You will pitch in on all sorts of things, no project is too small and no issue 'not your problem'
Location:

This role can be performed as fully remote or in a hybrid capacity. A majority of the Aalto team is located around the Bay area with flexibility to work from home or the office. For those located in The Bay area, we do have an office (with ample parking) as an option in the Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco, but there is no daily requirement to be present. We want to empower our employees to do their best work, whether that's collaborating in person with co-workers, focus time at home, or both! Nearly all team members work Pacific hours.
