This is a hands-on development role working alongside well-educated engineers, in a high-pace environment!
You will be responsible for the design, build and deployment of high-performance, cloud-based applications including coding, caching mechanisms, state management, error logging, scalability, environment configuration, testing procedures, etc.
In this role, you will work on back end services used for managing large amounts of open data

What You Need for this Position

3+ years of professional experience developing new features or functionality in Java-based applications
Experience working on cloud-based products (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
Strong Relational Database experience (SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with Git preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
