Position: Customer Support Specialist

Openings: 10+

Duration: 3 Month Contract Starting (Strong Possibility of Extension)

Shift: Varies - Weekday and Weekend shifts available anytime between 5AM – 10PM (PST)

Hours: Flexible – Part Time OR Full-Time options

Pay: Varies State by State – WA $16.39/Hour

Interview Process: 1 virtual interview

Equipment: Headset and Ethernet cord will be mailed along with Access to REI Systems

Start Date: ASAP (starting as early as August 10th)

NEED TO KNOW:

  • You need to be able to start ASAP
  •  You must have internet, computer/laptop, mobile device
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  •  Must have flexibility to work weekdays and potentially one weekend shift if needed

 

MUST HAVE:

*No previous Call Center experience required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills – will be working with internal and external teams, and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task efficiently using a computer, phone system, email, and internal platforms to support customer and business needs
  • Must be able to problem solve effectively to provide real-time solutions to customer and business needs

 

PLUSSES:

  • 6 months call center experience
  • 1-year retail and/or customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

DAY 2 DAY:

REI is looking for a Remote, Customer Support Specialist to join their Contact Center team. These Contact Center Representatives are the eyes and ears of customers and members and will field inbound customer calls and handle basic service calls. Individuals in this position will work collaboratively with their peers and teammates using strong written and verbal communication skills. This individual must be able to utilize de-escalation skills, critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills to provide a positive resolution for the customer, and effectively manage ambiguity by actively listening and demonstrating empathy when resolving difficult customer situations.
