Our Client is looking to hire multiple Transmission Network Engineer/Planners for a full-time positions with Benefits for a project starting soon.

Fresh Undergrads/Grads with Major in Telecommunication Engineering are welcome to apply for these positions.

The Transmission Network Engineer/Planner will be required to plan/optimize and prepare/execute transmission network operation tasks over large transport infrastructure of our esteemed telecom backhaul network provider client.

Desired Knowledge –

The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of optical fiber transmission.
Prior experience on Ethernet/wire transmission will be an additional bonus.
Excellent knowledge of optical fiber transmission and operations is needed.
Right understanding of path/circuit redundancy or protection in the network.
Must demonstrate clear and efficient understanding of various transmission planning tools, operation tools and have good working knowledge of MS Office.
Should understand various transmission standards like SONET, OC192, OTU4, ODU2 or equivalent STM/SDH transmission networks.
Must be willing to work during off-peak hours/night hours for maintenance window activities.
Should be able to clearly communicate with field operations staff.
Should be able to troubleshoot and analyze the network related issues causing failure and fix them quickly.

Education:

Should be Bachelors/Masters/PG in Telecommunication engineering or equivalent and have relevant experience in transport/transmission domain in the production/live network environment. Should have excellent communication skills and be an enthusiastic team player. Should have no issues working in odd hours.
Excellent communication and Writing skills are required for this job.
