Remote job description

This is a 100% remote / work from home position that can be done from anywhere in the country!

Our mission.

Is to help healthcare organizations hire high-impact employees who enable them to make a difference for good.

Since 2010 we've helped 100+ companies across the healthcare space hire hundreds of employees, and our clients range from fortune 500 Hospital Systems to innovative start-up Health Plans!

The team.

We are a young and close-knit team of 10 coming off a whopping 47% year over year growth and projecting double digit growth in 2020 despite the current state of affairs. We are driven to help people, love travel (and take full advantage of the "unlimited vacation" policy), are financially motivated, enjoy podcasts & personal development books, are fans of The Office, and most of us are avid adventurers and frequently bond over outdoors activities like snowboarding, soccer, craft beers, whiskey & wine, hiking, etc. This is an entry level role that is designed for you to have the opportunity to grow within the organization.

Here's a 90-second snapshot of our culture and philosophy: https://vimeo.com/263009656

Oh, we almost forgot to mention our awesome "office dog" named Tandy- she's the sweetest Dotson-Terrier you'll ever meet.

Benefits.

  • Medical, dental, vision- most plans are completely free for an individual
  • Sweet commission plan that can exceed $65,000/yr
  • Unlimited paid vacation (yes you read that right)
  • A juicy annual bonus $$
  • Work from home. Booyah!
  • 401k with up to $2,500 in employer matching
  • Annual paid company trip. (We've done Hawaii and Nashville in the past and are headed to Costa Rica this year!)

*Your job.

*Roughly 70% of your time will be spent making approximately 30-40 calls/day. While this is a performance-oriented role, you'll have realistic targets that are very much attainable.

Supporting Business Development Pipeline: 80-90%

  • Making cold & warm calls to schedule sales calls for the Director of Recruitment to generate new clients
  • Researching & building lists of potential companies we can work with
  • Doing online sleuthing to discover the names and email addresses for decision makers (we have a swiss army knife of tools you'll be able to use for this)

Supporting Recruitment Pipeline: 10-20%

  • Searching for resumes for the team to contact on platforms like Indeed.com, LinkedIn, etc. and reviewing inbound resumes
  • Using web-based tools to find contact information

Training.

Haven't done this before? Don't worry, practically all of us had zero industry experience when we started. Our Recruitment Director loves teaching and has a comprehensive 30-day onboarding plan to help you learn more about sales in healthcare recruitment than you ever could've hoped for (and then some on top of that!)- this is a great job for someone who enjoys learning.

Company DescriptionWho We Are...
A group of dedicated recruiters with real industry experience specializing in the recruitment and placement of Healthcare professionals. Our philosophy is simple. We work swiftly and efficiently to stay above the competition, and expect both our candidates and clients to do the same. Our recruiters are very well trained to handle any situation throughout the hiring process, ensuring a successful placement. We stay on top of emerging market news, delivering more of a consultative and value added approach.

Why Use A Recruiter?

First and foremost, it's absolutely FREE to the candidate to have a recruiter represent you.
A good recruiter is a professional networker; so if you are reluctant or too busy to test the job market, recruiters can put you in touch with "hidden" opportunities. Recruiters are often privy to openings that are not on the job boards.
Executive recruiters work directly with the hiring authority. This means your resume is not stuck in a large pile on HR's desk. Rather, you are one of a selected few, prudently submitted directly to the hiring manager.
Recruiters can also give you a behind-the-scenes perspective on a company and specifics of the position such as the extremely important question: "Why is the position open?"
Our monthly email notifications provide you with insights and trends about our specific industry. This knowledge allows you to compare your skills to those in high demand.
A good recruiter is a lifelong professional ally. By maintaining contact with AMI network, we can refer you and friends to career changing opportunities.
Lastly, recruiters give you unbiased, professional advice regarding your resume, interviewing tips and guidance as you embark on finding the next step in your career.
