Have great phone & business e-mail writing skills? Our Southern California Telecommunications Agency serves clients nationwide and is looking for a full-time Customer Service Rep.

We are a boutique; family owned and operated Business Telecommunication Solutions Company. We represent over 100 major carrier brands that service business clients nationwide. Brands like AT&T, Verizon, Century Link, Windstream, Cox, Spectrum, Comcast, Frontier, TPx, Ring Central, Vonage, Jive and Mitel to name a few. This is a mid-level position for an energetic self-starter with enthusiasm, talent and a passion for technology, solving customer problems, getting things right and serving others. Must have worked for a carrier in a similar role to be considered.

Job Description:

The Customer Service Rep will be responsible for multiple Project Manager & Sales Support tasks. These include, but are not limited to the following:

• Be available to work M-F 9:00am to 5:00pm. These are our normal business hours, some flexibility depending on the individual.

• Actively monitor and respond to incoming client request via e-mail or phone.

• Prepare carrier product and pricing proposals comparing multiple carrier solutions and options.
• Conduct bill audits and analysis for existing and prospective customers.
• Provide customer service support and resolve carrier problems for existing and prospective customers.
• Work with our vendors and our customers to provide complete project management of new orders. Including but not limited to quote generation, contract generation, order submission, installation provisioning, and post-sales support.
• Attend carrier trainings or webinars to learn about the products and services they offer.
• Work with our Carrier Agent Managers to further learn specific products, services and procedures.
• Learning proprietary and specialized online carrier pricing tools in order to provide effective sales support.
• Participate in our weekly Team meetings and be prepared to contribute to our discussion..
• Database entry into our cloud based portal of all notes and next steps for each client so if another employee logs into see what is going on with that client or project everyone is up to speed in real time.
• Be available to answer the phones during your designated work hours.

Qualifications:

Must have worked in the Telecommunications industry in a similar role. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must for this position as is attention to detail. Candidate must have technology problem solving skills, administrative experience, be upbeat, deadline oriented, extremely organized and able to perform under pressure. Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and see them through to completion. Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Outlook (must type minimum 40 wpm) and Excel, is essential. A good candidate will enjoy technology and have plenty of personal computer experience, knowledge of telecommunications and the cloud a huge plus. College degree is preferred but not required.
