Head of Communications

Are you a seasoned communications professional with a flair for public relations strategies and internal communications that resonate and engage? Cobot is seeking a dynamic Communications leader to shape and steer our external and internal communications. This full-time role is remote-friendly, tasked with amplifying our brand presence and aligning our communication efforts with our strategic goals. This position offers the unique opportunity to craft compelling narratives that showcase our cutting-edge robotics technology.

We're hiring virtually, in addition to our Santa Clara, California or Seattle, Washington offices onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our visibility and brand reputation across various platforms.
• Lead public relations initiatives, including media relations, press releases, social media, and event planning, to effectively convey our technology's impact and innovation.
• Manage crisis communication and provide strategic guidance on internal and external communications.
• Collaborate with leadership to define brand story, identify, and positioning that resonates with our target audiences.
• Partner to amplify our culture in our internal communications and messaging.
• Help oversee the production of high-quality content including digital content and annual reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a communications or public relations role, ideally within the technology sector.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns and strategies.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a communications team.
• Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.
• Willing to occasionally travel.
• Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the robotics or high-tech industry.
• Proven capability in handling crisis communications.
• Strong network of media and PR contacts.
• Experience with digital marketing strategies and social media management.

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across locations in the United States. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
